Oh My Goodness!! What an amazing day it was!!

WHAT AN EVENT!!! THAT WAS AWESOME!! Everything looked fantastic, we had a GREAT crowd, LOTS of new players.... THIS is what a Pokemon Event should be like! Ages 4 to 63... amazing! Double the number of Jrs and Srs from States a month ago. Games, fun, great treats for the PokeCake Walk, lots of activities, fantastic art contest submissions, prizes all over the place .. Wow Wow Wow!!! We took over 200 pics on Dev's camera alone!

Before I go any further, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to ALL of our dedicated Judges and Staff, for without them, such a wonderful event would not be possible, and we appreciate their time in all this. Unfortunately I didn't get a group staff picture, but our Judging Staff was:

Getting the decklists all finalized over in the New Player area...

We had a nice layout, 4 long tables seating 48 players each on the tournament side, and all the fun
Art, League, New Player & Creative tables were way on the other side of the room.
We had retail booths from Tomorrow Is Yesterday from Rockford as well as Gathering Ground from MO way back at the far wall. TIY gave everyone a free die and later free chips. GG gave cash for many commons and uncommons from players.

We had a great turnout with lots and lots of brand new players, as well as some of the very top names in the Pokemon World, including the reigning World Champion, Jason Klaczynski and number 2 Champion Jimmy Ballard.
